Takashimaya Vietnam Ltd. (“Takashimaya”) (the Personal Data Controller and Processor) is organizing the “I Love Takashimaya” check-in contest in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Takashimaya Department Store in Vietnam.

To help customers understand how Takashimaya collects, uses, and processes personal data related to the “I Love Takashimaya” check-in contest, please carefully read the following information:

Collection and processing of personal data for contest operation and prize awarding

  • By voluntarily participating in the “I Love Takashimaya” check-in contest, customers agree to allow Takashimaya to collect, store, use, and process basic personal data, including full name, phone number, Facebook account, images, and any content provided or posted by customers when joining the contest.
  • The above personal data will be used for the purposes of verifying participants, identifying winners, contacting winners for prize awarding, completing procedures related to the program, and resolving any arising matters (if any).

Announcement of winner information

  • Customers agree to allow Takashimaya to use and announce their Facebook account name on Takashimaya’s official Fanpage for the purposes of announcing contest results, publishing the winner list, and confirming winners according to the contest rules.

Use of photos and videos during prize receiving activities for communication purposes

  • Customers agree to allow Takashimaya to collect, use, store, publish, and post photos/videos recorded during the prize receiving process and/or participation in activities related to the program for communication and promotional purposes on Takashimaya’s official communication channels.
  • Customers understand and agree that such photos/videos may be edited, cropped, or technically adjusted, provided that the original content, image, and meaning are not misrepresented.

Use of submitted photos and content for communication purposes

  • Customers agree to allow Takashimaya to use, copy, store, edit, modify, publish, and post photos, videos, and content submitted when participating in the “I Love Takashimaya” check-in contest for the purposes of designing key visuals, creating program recap content, and conducting related communication activities on Takashimaya’s official channels.

Personal data (including customers’ information, photos/videos) will be stored and used within the scope of the purposes agreed by customers, for a period appropriate to the processing purposes and in accordance with applicable laws, or until customers request to withdraw their consent/delete their data or exercise other rights as personal data subjects under applicable regulations by contacting Customer Service via email: CS@takashimaya-vn.com.vn or Hotline: (028) 3821 1819, whichever comes first.
